Tips and Toes Pure Mineral Powder Foundation & Concealer is a mineral powder foundation that is available in India. As I mentioned in my MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation Review itself I was always not very fond of liquid or cream foundations. Because they will just melt or crease like crazy in a couple of hours no matter what primer I use beforehand. Powder foundation suits me best so let’s see how this one survived on my oily skin.

How Did Tips and Toes Pure Mineral Powder Foundation Work For Me ?

I have oily skin so I am always on the hunt for that perfect powder foundation that wouldn’t melt or crease on my skin. One random day when I was buying other beauty staples of mine I saw this one in the store. Saw the graphics as powder foundation and I immediately felt compelled to buy it thinking what could possibly go wrong. I bought the Tips and Toes Pure Mineral Powder Foundation in the shade Vanilla and it suits me perfectly because even though it is the lightest shade from the range, it oxidises in an hour or so. This gives a very sheer coverage. As my skin is almost clear all I do is apply my Lotus Tinted Sunscreen and set it with this powder using the Real Techniques Buffing Brush and I am good to go. Being a matte product I thought it would control the shine but it has failed in that aspect. And also it comes in loose powder form so it can be a little messy. Coming to the price of the product, Tips and Toes Pure Mineral Powder Foundation bears a hefty price tag for the brand which I think is a little too much. Next is the concealer which is on the lip with a flip cap my question is why did they even add it to this product? It is a complete dud. Extremely dry paste which basically covers nothing. And also the useless applicator brush which I threw away as soon as I opened it.

Turn Ons-

• It is completely matte
• Stays on for around 3-4 hours
• Feels like skin
• Allows skin to breathe
• Blends like a dream
• Didn’t break me out

Turn Offs-

• Expensive for a drugstore brand
• Has this utterly useless concealer on top
• Doesn’t control oil that well
• Dry skinned ladies should prep their skin before applying this
• Sheer coverage

Swatches- Left- Blended, Right- Unblended

Suitable Skin Type- Combination to Oily skin.

Rating- 4/5 (-.5 for not controlling oil & -.5 for adding that useless concealer)

Would I repurchase this again ?

Yes, I’ll for the quantity and finish I cannot complain.
