Hi my little dolls!! How was the weekend? Mine was beyond fantastic few friends and I went on a weekend trip to Pondicherry. The climate was just perfect it was raining now and then I loved every minute of it that we spent there. I had this thought of bunking work today and sleep till evening hours but the horror of taking unscheduled leave made me wake up and I got ready in a jiffy. Luckily, today I wore this plaid scarf which saved me from the sudden down pour which trickled me the idea of writing this post. So, I am going to tell a few tips to protect hair during the monsoon because during this season we can experience a lot of scalp and hair problems.
Protect Your Hair During The Monsoon-
Drink plenty of water- First things first if you drink 8-10 glasses of water every day you will start to lots of difference in your skin and hair. Water helps you to keep your body hydrated.
Oil your hair once a week- Right from the shampoo to the comb that you use, outside pollution and getting drenched in rain all these things are evil to your hair. So, moisturise the strands with pure coconut or olive oil once a week to protect your mane.
Use wide-toothed comb- Never use fine toothed comb to de-tangle the knots as it will lead to breakage and hair-fall.
Short hair cuts are the best- Long hair is always high maintenance it becomes even more difficult during rainy season. Go for short hair cuts it will cut down your hair drying and styling time to half.
Avoid hot water shower- Hot water strips the moisture from the hair and starts to dry them out so always opt for warm showers.
Trim your hair regularly- Those split ends can make any hairstyle look shabby so get the ends trimmed every couple of months.
Let it air dry- Dry hair becomes even brittle when you do a lot of heat styling. SO let the hair air dry and start experimenting with hairstyles that do not require any hot tools.
Do not shampoo too often- Shampooing too often can strip the moisture from the scalp and strands so alternate the days for healthy mane.
Hope these tips are useful in protecting your hair during the monsoon. Thanks for reading. Like & subscribe for more informative posts.
