How Did Too Faced Peanut Butter and Jelly Palette Work For Me?
The Too Faced Peanut Butter and Jelly Palette comes in a small, sleek metal packaging which resembles a toast. The eyeshadow pans embedded in the palette and under the lid there is a decent sized mirror which is really useful while doing the eye makeup. Along with it, is a Glamour Guide with three looks to ease your way through the palette. The packaging is sturdy and very travel friendly. There are 3 bigger and 6 smaller pans in the palette. The majority of the palette has warm-neutral shades with a pop of color which is pure genius. The shades range from mattes to metallics to glittery eyeshadows and all of them are super smooth, buttery and highly pigmented. The powders do have a medium kick-off. The TF PB & Jelly Palette has a nutty, chocolaty fragrance which I really like. If you think the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette is a little too heavy for travel then this one is a good option. The two palettes are comparable to each other in terms of formula and the consistency.

The best way to apply the Too Faced Peanut Butter and Jelly Palette is to first prime the eyelids with an eyeshadow primer like the Smashbox 24 Hour Photo Finish Shadow Primer, LORAC Behind The Scenes Eye Primer, Urban Decay Primer Potion, Kryolan Eye Shadow Primer or MAC Painterly Paint Pot. Even though you get the same intensity when you apply the colors without a primer it is best if you apply on top of a primer. They don’t patch up if I spray the brush with MAC Prep and Prime Fix + Spray before picking up the colors unlike the Urban Decay Naked Palette. The shadows are very easy to blend with medium fallouts and once applied, they stay on all day without creasing or budging. One can create simple everyday looks to dramatic party looks with this palette as it is super versatile.
Though there are no exact palette dupes in the market for the Too Faced Peanut Butter and Jelly Palette, you can create your own on a budget with the Coastal Scents Hot Pots and Makeup Geek Shadows.
