Today’s review is going to be the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Foundation. If you know me then you know that I’m not a foundation or a BB cream kinda gal solely because most of them feels heavy and separates on my extremely oily skin. But I wanted a full coverage foundation that wouldn’t look or feel heavy on my skin that is when the SA in Sephora suggested that I give this a try. So, I solely went with her suggestion and got this along with the NARS Caramel Concealer. Without any further ado, let’s find out how the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Foundation 8.0 fare out for me?

What The Company Claims?

Coverage without compromise. Our weightless formula blurs imperfections for a flawless finish that feels invisible, but looks professionally retouched.

It feels like wearing nothing, yet Naked Skin Liquid Makeup transforms your complexion. Skin looks natural, illuminated and bright with a luminous demi-matte finish: like the beautiful skin you were born with. Light-diffusing spheres provide a visible reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, blurring imperfections for beautifully perfected, ultra definition skin that looks completely real.

And it’s loaded with nourishing ingredients, including: Matrixyl 3000 (a powerful anti-wrinkle peptide), protective and brightening Litchiderm™, antioxidant green tea, and sodium hyaluronate for optimal skin hydration and nutrient absorption. The sleek, hygienic pump provides more control, with less waste of product. Oil- and paraben-free.

How Did Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Foundation Work For Me?

The Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Foundation comes in a sleek transparent plastic bottle packaging with gunmetal lid. The foundation comes with a pump dispenser which makes dispensing the product easy peasy. The packaging is super sturdy and easy to travel with. There are 26 different shades available in this range of foundation which is pretty impressive. The foundation is very thin and runny in consistency compared with MAC Studio Fix Fluid or the Estee Lauder Double Wear.

It is easy to apply and it spreads beautifully on the skin. I use a damp Beauty Blender to blend it into the skin. The foundation has medium coverage which is easily buildable to super full coverage. It sets to a soft matte finish which I thoroughly enjoy over the super matte finish which later settles into fine lines and creases. This on the other hand once set doesn’t move anywhere until I take it off at the end of the day which I absolutely love.

The Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation 8.0 hides and blurs out the skin’s texture and imperfections and leaves the skin with this unreal airbrushed finish. This foundation feels like nothing is on and definitely gives that photoshopped skin effect. It doesn’t settle into the pores or fine lines but also keep the face shine to a minimum. If you’re someone with dry to normal skin then you could easily skip powder with this foundation but as I’m extremely oily I do a light dusting of translucent setting powder like the Laura Mercier Setting Powder which helps to keep the shine at bay.

The only drawback is this foundation oxidizes like no other so I would suggest getting a shade or two lighter. This product is vegan and cruelty free like all Urban Decay products. Though there are no actual dupes to the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Foundation a fairly similar drugstore dupe would be the Revlon Nearly Naked Makeup. Overall, if you are looking for the best high-end foundation then the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Foundation is one I would absolutely recommend!
