Today’s review is going to be the Wet n Wild Color Icon Blush Mellow Wine. I got this blush when I was in Walmart shopping for some skincare items. For the price Wet n Wild sure makes kickass makeup. If you are not very iffy about the packaging then I would recommend you to try this brand. So how did the Wet n Wild Color Icon Blush Mellow Wine fare out for me?

How Did The Wet n Wild Color Icon Blush Mellow Wine Work For Me?
The Wet n Wild Color Icon Blush Mellow Wine comes in a sleek plastic packaging with transparent lid. The packaging is chic but it could be better for the price; I can’t complain. The small brush applicator is provided in the compact but I’d rather use my own brush. The Wet n Wild Color Icon Blush Mellow Wine is a stunning matte apricot shade that applies evenly without getting blotchy. The pigmentation on this shade is amazing and so is the color payoff. It stays on for more than 6-7 hours.
The formula on the Wet n Wild Color Icon Blush Mellow Wine is pretty great; the powder isn’t dry or chalky but is soft and buttery which makes the application a dream and gives it expensive counterparts a run for their money. For all the times I have worn this, I haven’t had a break out. Like all Wet n Wild products, this is not tested on animals so you can be guilt free when you add this to your cart. This particular shade will look great all year round on almost all skin tones.
If I have to be nitpicky the first ingredient in the list is talc so if you’re allergic to it or avoiding talc in your cosmetics then it is a bummer. Also, I wish they expand their shade range as this line so far consists of only 5 colors. Overall, if you are looking for a good and affordable blush then the Wet n Wild Color Icon Blush Mellow Wine is one I would absolutely recommend! And this shade is a great dupe to the MAC Melba Blush.
