Today’s review is going to be the Anastasia Beverly Hills Allison liquid lipstick. With the weather being hot in Chennai, I’ve started opting for liquid lipsticks as unlike traditional lipsticks, I don’t have to worry about it melting and being a gooey mess when travelling. I started off with ColourPop Liquid Lipsticks and then moved onto ABH Liquid Lipsticks. This is the first one I bought to try on before buying the other shades. How Did Anastasia Beverly Hills Allison Liquid Lipstick Work For Me?
The Anastasia Beverly Hills Allison Liquid Lipstick comes in a transparent plastic body with a chrome cap. There is a rose gold paint strip on the top border of the body with the ABH symbol on it which looks pretty but with just a few uses it fades off slightly and has the tendency to easily get scratched. Now coming to the screw on cap, a doe foot applicator is attached which is soft and makes the application super easy. The ABH Allison shade is a rosy red mauve with a matte finish and the first thing you will probably notice is the difference of the shade in and out of the packaging. I don’t know whether it is the plastic body that makes it look lighter but when you apply it, it does look intense than in the packaging.
The ABH Allison Liquid Lipstick is thin in consistency but gives an opaque finish in just a single swipe thanks to the highly pigmented formula. Once applied it does stay on for around 5-6 hours with light drinking and snacking and it doesn’t smudge or move easily. Though it does get a little drying, it still feels comfortable on the lips but which liquid lipstick doesn’t . This shade perfect for days when you want to rock a neutral color but still stand out. The Anastasia Beverly Hills Allison Liquid Lipstick is a great dupe for the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Rome, Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita and ColourPop Frick n Frack Liquid Lipstick. Overall, the Anastasia Beverly Hills Allison Liquid Lipstick is one of the best expensive liquid lipstick range I have tried so far and I would recommend you to try.
