Today’s review is going to be the MAC Chili Lipstick. While I have lipsticks for winter like the MAC Diva or MAC Media lipsticks, with spring and summer around the corner, I wanted to get an orange lipstick. I went to the MAC store, tried it on, fell in love and immediately bought it. I must say this lipstick is going to be immensely loved during the summer. How Did MAC Chili Lipstick Work For Me?
The MAC Chili Lipstick just like all standard MAC lippies, comes in a sleek bullet packaging that is both sturdy and travel friendly. The MAC Chili shade is a rusty orangey red color, has a matte finish and comes with a subtle vanilla fragrance that I totally love. The lipstick has a super creamy texture and practically glides on the lips as it is applied. It doesn’t feather or bleed and one swipe is all you need for a completely opaque finish.

The MAC Chili Lipstick, unlike the MAC La Vie En Rouge Lipstick, is not drying on the lips even though both are matte. The lipstick stays on for around 5 to 6 hours and wears off evenly without staining the lips. This lipstick shade will suit almost all skin tones and being a beautiful orange-red color, is perfect for summer. If you are looking a MAC Chili lipstick dupe, there isn’t any exact dupe out there but I find that the Colour Pop Matte X Love Life Lippie Stix is the closest though it slightly more matte than Chili once applied. Overall, if you are looking a good orangey red lipstick, then I recommend you to check this one out.
